i find this extremely interesting
OT: Tiger pregame/MLB open thread. Who's your Tiger tonight
Oh agreed, he really didn't feature the curve all that often tonight, when he did it wasnt the steep break that it usually has.
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
Yup, and he missed more often than he usually does with the fastball. But the changeup was just completely unfair tonight, and he mentioned in the postgame that it was working for him.

ALCS bound!!!! Hell yes!!! JV is the man!
GOD DAMN IS JUSTIN GOOD.
USING GRATUITOUS AMOUNTS OF CAPS LOCK SINCE APRIL 2011
It was the most painful professional game I have ever attended. Thank god we pulled it out in 5!
BEAT BALTIMORE/NEW YORK
"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
Verlander is pumped. The only thing left for him to have won for the perfect career is the WS ring.
that this is the first time in history that all the divisional series have gone to five games.
So it goes.
ALCS baby! Go Tigers! JV was a fucking beast!
I hate ohio. Thats all you need to know.

Dumbass stats like this are why baseball is awesome: It's the first postseason series in which three runs have scored via wild pitch since 1911. You just don't get that kind of esoteric goofiness in other sports, and not just because of the length of time.

You know what the funny thing is? I didn't think he had the really good stuff tonight. He was nasty as hell, but not, like, silly good the way he can sometimes be. As far as pure stuff as compared to what he can bring, I think he had his B+ game tonight. And he still just mowed fools down.
