OT: Is there a blue-turf football field in Jackson?
I was playing around on Google Earth this morning, and I found what looks like Boise's Smurf Turf in Jackson, MI... I can't find anything about it through Google, but does this not look blue?

Hillsdale College's turf is blue. At least, it was 15 years ago. That's like 35 miles away, but a possibility.

Hillsdale is green now

Looks green to me, the turf material may just be screwing with you.

I have trouble with blue/purple myself.

Good call. I can see the difference between the endzones and the rest of the field now. It still looks like it has a blue tint, but so does the surrounding grass... So... Green.

To me it looks like green turf with blue endzones.

That's Jackson High School's field Dungy Field. Green/turquois turf with blue endzones.

Ok I am from Jackson...when did it get renamed after Dungy? Especially since he did not attend Jackson High School. It used to be called Withington Stadium. I don't live in Jackson now but am still surprised if it has been renamed.

Looks like it's named after the Dungy family not just Tony.

Mildly disappointed.

Dungy Field either. It has been called Withington Stadium for as long as I can remember. What's really strange is why the endzones are blue. Jackson High's colors are orange and black and Lumen Christi plays their home games there as well has green and gold colors. It just don't make no sense!

It is green see the pic in the link

Ok I see what they have done, it is Withington Stadium but Dungy Field, ok still I am out of touch I guess since I didn't realize they had done that.

I played on that field for Jackson Parkside in the 70's and we had blue in our colors. Of course Parkside hasn't been a high school for twenty years.

I went to Parkside for 3yrs, my senior year is the year they closed it as a high school and I had to go to Jackson High for my last year. Yes it was a long time ago.

Aaaaah orange wings! I love it!

Yes I really like that they did that. They changed after I graduated...some years ago.
