thanks to Dr. Drucker at OHSU and the chemo therapy that I take daily at little cost thanks to the Veteran's Admin., I'll probable die of something else. It will be nice some time in the future when there are no more diseases like cancer, but until that time, many people will still have to suffer and go through expensive therapies.
Families suffer right along with the victims. All of us as fans enjoy MGoBlog and the wonderful creativity of Brian and others here, and it really is a great diversion that lightens the load for many of us while being highly informative and often humerous.
Glad you are hanging in there and continuing the fight. That must be a real trip on a morphine drip. Like others, I often find myself laughing at things I read here apart from the deeper aspects of the sporting analysis we all feed on.

I may not know you but my prayers are with you. Get well soon! I had a young friend on my high school hockey team who's life was cut short because of a rare blood cancer :(. Keep fighting guy!

My son is about to turn 1... I'm 40... let me tell you that I thought I knew happiness, until I became a father. It's joy like you've never felt. That and being a cancer survivor. You're an inspiration.

Soda crackers and vernors got me through chemo in a reasonable comfort. I've been in remission for 5 years and currently see the doc every three-six months for bloodwork and followup. I have harry cell luekemia, which turns out to be very treatable.
My doctor says I was very fortunate not to have been born 30 years earlier.

but it doesn't have the same effectiveness as Sparty tears, which I understand have been known to cure almost anything except the Greek sovereign debt crisis.
