What the fuck was the last part of the presidents speech? All I heard was-

"vnfdunvisnfbnsfjbnfn.....SEC country"

Maybe they're making the SEC feel sorry so they don't get their ass handed to them too badly.

Yeah. Just...yeah. I knew A&M was going to embarrass itself sooner or later. I just didn't think it would be so soon. Or involve the president. Or be put out by the official school YouTube channel. I guess it's better to get this out now, just so the SEC doesn't have any illusions about what they've brought upon themselves.

That's pretty atrocious. I guess it's different because they haven't played these teams before really but seeing some Michigan fans yell 'go bucks' or 'go green' wouldn't do much for me

I'm embarrassed for everyone. It's like watching an episode of the Office, except this actually happened. It's so awkward I'm cringing in my seat.

I think the funniest part of this is the fact that it took barely any time for A&M to realize how embarassing this was and pull the video.

But it does make me wonder how this got past the planning stages. Did anyone really think this was going to be good?

So, from now on, I sort of expect this cheer of, "Go Aggies...I guess....whatever..." when I happen to catch them on ESPN this season. I can't wait to see the Aggies act out "No Exit" on the field this fall, if this is the level of excitement they bring to the table.

Not sure A&M realizes what it has gotten itself into. It's trading being in Texas's shadow for LSU's and Alabama's. I foresee several years of mediocrity and ass kickings for the Aggies. Not to mention that they will still lose out to UT for instate recruiting. Maybe A&M gets a boost since they can play the SEC card, but it will be minimal.

It was painful enough watching that tool give KU's cheer i cant imagine how horrified i would be if that was Big Ten style. Ahh the difference between administrators and athletics. If im a player im sick to my stomach watching my fellow students dawn my alma mater attire cheering for the enemy.

I work in sales and marketing and what you just witnessed is what happens when the CEO (or probably in this case the President of the University) has a "brilliant" idea and either pushes it through over objections OR (more likely) executes his concept without showing anyone.

True story.  I worked at a firm once who spent literally millions in rebranding their name and held an enormous national party to announce it.  It was very secretive and a BIG deal was made of the new name.  When the time came for the revealing of our new name they had a drum roll and giant black screen in front of about 500 key employees that lit up behind the President & CEO as he proudly said the new name of our firm publicly for the first time:

Clenovia

Which was met with absolute dead silence in the room as EVERYONE thought it sounded like a cross between a female body part and a SDD. Then the giggles started and the President was not happy as he realized what a huge (and expensive) mistake he had made.

Turns out the name was submitted by an ad firm and the President and the President alone made the selection.  And, at 72, his mind didnt think like everyone elses obviously so he didnt make the connection.  Our new name never got released and nobody outside the 500 or so of us ever heard it again.

I absolutely guarentee you "Colonel Sanders" (to quote the parody video) never discussed this concept with anyone other than those poor kids who probably work in his office and got forced into this abomination.

They could have made the video go from terrible to merely bad by just playing some loud music in the background... music excuses many follies.

They're totally oblivious to how pathetic their SEC groveling makes them look. I would have regretted adding Nebraska if their fanbase had reacted this way to joining the Big Ten (thankfully, they have a little more dignity than A&M).
