Nothing spectacular tonight but enough different stuff to keep my interest. MSU-Illinois hoops right now on ESPN. Very ugly game but it was funny to watch Draymond Green get three fouls in the first ten minutes and Izzo freak out. Pistons getting beat by the Knicks on FSN. Red Wings play in Calgary starting at nine on FSN+. This is probably what I'll watch for the rest of the night. Some other basketball games, college and NBA ,are on. What's everybody else watching?

SPOLIER ALERT:  Don't read on if you don't want to know anything about how LOST ends.

Try watching the finale again.  The first time I watched it I was disappointed with the finale.

Watching the second time I was able to get over the fact that there was so much techinical questions left unanswered.  If you are a person who was into all of the mystery of the island and so forth then, I guess you will never be satisfied.  I was intrigued by those aspects until the second time I watched the finale.  I loved the show so much and loved the characters that I realized that it was about them and how they were all able to find each other in the end.

It was hard for me to be absolutely pissed because I loved the show so much.  I can see where people would be pissed off about the finale though.  There are some special short bonus things that are available online that kind of answer some of the questions.

I don't think I wanted the questions answered because the way it was written, there clearly were no good answers. They were making up the questions as they went. I wish the characters would have just died/got off the island and they would have just said, "Well, I guess it was all magic." The first few season were just so good. A white light is not an answer. Who ended up in the last scenes also made no sense. Sayid suddenly realize he loves Shannon more than his life long love?? It was completely pick and choose to satisfy fans.

The one technical thing that really, and I mean really, bothered me was Walt. He was such a big part of the early seasons and the producers didn't realize that kids grew up so they just stopped talking about him. I still loved the show but that and the religous parts of the finale really bug me for some reason.

I can totally understand where you are coming from.

My friend watched the entire thing a second time and he said that he noticed some things that he didn't see the first time.

I plan on watching the series again, but it is just a time commitment so I haven't started yet.

Yeah, I should definitely rewatch it. I just think the first three seasons were such a high point for network TV.  I still enjoyed the other seasons more than anything else that was on at the time but they didn't live up to the first three, IMO.

Lots of relevant college BB on tonight.  Arkansas and Iowa State both play tough teams, wins for them would be nice.  Virginia is beating Clemson right now, we want them to win for the same reason.  Also, Wisconsin is losing to PSU in a game where Wisconsin is on pace to score about 23 points.

It is perplexing how MSU is still very much in this game despite one of the worst shooting nights I have seen from a team. Wouldn't be surprised to see them pull this off somehow.

Draymond Green coming up big again. Five points on six shots. Way to go buddy.

Edit: do not get injured though. Don't want to be a d-bag.

This is the worst game I've ever seen. When does Illinois stop shooting threes? They're 2-15 and three straight possessions they've shot contested threes. The refs are calling it tight and they refuse to drive. This is an atrocity.

We're not talking about a goon like Gholston.  (Not that I'd wish injury on Gholston, but the "karma" argument would make more sense.)  Green's a good guy.  Other than pick MSU over us, he hasn't done anything to make us dislike him.

history. Fuck New Jersey. Out of all the teams I hated the most in the late 90s and early 2000s it was the Devils. Still hate them. Would of been so amazing to of won the cup in 95. My most hated finals of all time.

I get why everyone says it's good if Arkansas and Iowa State win, but at the same time, I think Michigan's finally at the point where no matter how the fringe teams we play do, we should make the tourney with a high seed assuming we take care of business. We have wins over enough top line or good teans like MSU, Wisconsin, even Memphis and Purdue, and the opportunity for more with Indiana, MSU again, OSU again, Illinois that we should make the tourney.

Saying that, I want teams like Arkansas and Iowa to lose. Just because I'm bitter that we lost to them. Yes I get this doesn't help us, and if this were last year I'd want them to win out, but at this point I feel comfortable saying that regardless of how they do, if we take care of business, we're in with a high seed.

It's not just about getting in the tourney, it's about getting as good a seed as we can.  If a team like Iowa mails it in the rest of the season and finishes in last place, that could significantly hurt our résumé, causing us to slip in the seeding and get a tougher matchup.
