This is the greatest shirt I have ever seen. I'm not a Bama fan, but I might buy one.
...talks about how UConn hasn't been in contact and how they're out. (HT: UMHoops)

Just read the sticky (in blue above before the MGoBoard topics start) titled: Basic HTML For Posting.

I have an awesome picture from the Capital One Bowl on my computer but don't know how to post it! :( What would the "url" be if it's a .jpg on my computer?
You'll be better and you'll be smarter and more grown-up and a better daughter. . .
You would have to post it on the Interweb (ie flickr or facebook), then right click it and choose "copy image location," then you can paste the URL wherever.

the shortest verse in the Bible, John 11:35.
So, Tebow had John 16:33 under his eyes for the game. Here is one googled translation:
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
What was Tebow trying to say? Did it have anything to do with the football game? Just a random bible quote?
Anyone know?

I believe Tebow just picks a favorite verse of his own to display each week. Not random, but not a direct meaning to the football game at hand.
I like Tebow as a person, no doubt. He knows lots of people watch him each week so he uses that space to advertise his faith in a subtle way. Gets people curious and they end up looking it up as you did.
Not so fast my friend!
...Ok, so maybe that fast.
I thought it very ironic that he chose that verse based on how the game ended up. Perhaps he didn't think of that when he chose it.

I wouldn't describe the advertisement of his faith as subtle.
Agreed. He's about as subtle as....

Touchdown Michigan!
Point taken, but there are plenty of loudmouths on TV and the 'net who are much more... agressive about it than Tebow.
I know Tim displays his faith in much more up-front ways, but the verses on his tape to me is subtle.

everyone that hates on tebow is a jealous, hate-filled fool.
kids made nothing but all the right decisions in his life, and he has to get ripped on for crying after losing the national championship.
give me a friggin break. ripping on tiger hasnt been enough for you people this week?
I told people to go F*ck themselves, therefore I have been banned
You didn't find that a guy who has won 22 straight games, a heisman and 2 national titles crying after a single loss even a little over the top?

No you're right. Any of us would have cried, too, had we been in that position. I think it's just the fact that the media has been SO OBSESSED with Tebow for years and has constructed a super-human image of him--Gator Nation loves him, while everyone else is so hypersaturated with the TebowLoveFest we're happy his reign is coming to an end.
He did great things for Florida and if I were a Florida Gator, I, too, would be sad the Tebow years are over.

MGoJen- That's weird, it normally works for me (I have FF on Vista). The img url is also under "Properties." I didn't reply directly to you so you can edit your comment in case you don't want to leave a link to your facebook lying around :]
And here's the Capital One Bowl pic in all its Tebow Jesus glory!

I understand that people are annoyed with all the publicity Tebow gets, but I think it's stupid when people hate him for it. There are a lot of college and even pro athletes who cry after championship losses and if it were anyone else this wouldn't even be a story. If this was a Michigan player crying we would probably be applauding him for his passion. I think that Tebow is a great player and a great person as well. People shouldn't hate him just because some people blow him out of proportion. I thought Tebow handled the loss with a lot of class. The first thing he did in the post-game interview, literally less than a minute after the game had ended, was congratulate Alabama and praise their players and coaches.
