he's the #33 overall prospect. the 5*'s start @ #32 overall. so you could say Martel is the #1 4*.
Regardless kid is a walking nightmare. Off the field troubles are pretty much a given, and I'd be shocked if he doesn't decommit again, or even transfer once he gets on campus wherever he goes.

That's not exactly accurate. He called the QB ass in a direct message to a third party, and that other person posted a screenshot of it. Maybe it's not the greatest look for Martell, but imagine if all your conversations were recorded electronically as a 17-year-old and then posted on the internet for everyone to see. It's not like Martell made that comment publicly for everyone to see.

He decommitted a couple of times and he didn't like the QB coach at A&M; A&M coaches pissing off recruits doesn't seem like a new thing.
He's going to be tough; I still think this team will figure out a way to crack OSU's offense.
I'm not sure what this means. You seem to be implying that the #1 dual-threat QB is either not good at football or he's more of a headcase than Manziel.

height isn't the only thing QB's are judged on. it is said Martel is the ultimate competitor and plays with a chip on his shoulder because of those that question his height. who knows he may be a total bust or the next
Height is not that important, but it is how I measure myself against other golfers...
I'm hoping we get Dorian Thompson-Robinson and then there's an awesome Bishop Gorman throwdown sometime in the future (after Speight/O'Korn, Peters, and McCaffrey beat OSU a couple times themselves)
Would OSU take McCaffery over Martell if they had that choice? Or is he too much of a non-fit for their system?
