OT: The Talbot Brothers (NTTB)

Submitted by DoctorDave on

If you were a Jesus Freak back in the '70s (and who among us wasn't?) then you were into the Talbot Brothers, a Grammy award-winning CCM band. Since we're really stretching through the dog days for anything even remotely football related, even if it's not really remotely football related, here's a mellow number by the Talbot Brothers - Terry and Terrence  John Michael.

Side note: Terry Talbot had a country rock band in the early '70s called Mason Profitt that was pretty hot - did a lot of dates with Steely Dan, Nitty Gritty, John Denver - even opened for the Eagles on their 1972 national tour.

Well, Terry is the eldest - and largest - of the Talbot brothers. And since Terry is a defensive tackle, that makes the math pretty easy.

Scouting report on the younger Talbot is pretty good too. Has stiff hips but provides great support behind a talented front line. Has excellent technique and a short memory after a bad outing. Loves playing on an island. And had 47 picks last year.
