OT Syracuse @ Arkansas

There's a pretty good game going on in Fayetteville. Arkansas is only down 5 at the half after giving up a T for one of its players doing a pull-up at the end of an emphatic dunk. This could be a big RPI booster for Michigan if Arkansas can pull the upset. Bonus: Georgetown defeated Tennessee 37-36 tonight. Guess the Big Ten isn't the only conference to have low scores.

Got to get a three point shooting contest set up for Mr. Southerland from Syracuse and our own Nik Stauskas. Southerland a major reason for why Syracuse maintains a lead (8-11 from three point land).

Whatever happens tonight, I want us to beat the hell out of Arkansas when we play them.  Those jackasses were shooting around 90% in the first half against us last year.  They couldn't miss from anywhere.

I watched the whole game.  Arkansas is fast and great on transition.  They don't have much of a 3-point shot and they had a rough time against Syracuse's zone defense.  The post players have pretty good moves - I saw a couple spin moves and good lateral movement.  Rebounding is ok, but not great.  Young was really good tonight, but it looks like he got winded. They had a lot of trouble defending Southerland and I think they will have similar problems against Stauskas.

Syracuse looked pretty good tonight, but they couldn't pull away.  Too many turnovers and silly fouls on Syracuse's part.
