OT - SuperDome Seating

Submitted by TorontoBlue on

Eyeballing the seating tonight during MNF, seems like the 100-level seats are on a pretty low angle (30-40 degree angle).  So it will be hard to see over folks in front of you.  So maybe not as good as they seem.  Looks like the 600-level seats overhang closer to the field with a good angle, so maybe not as bad as first thought.  Overall an intimate atmosphere where noise gets amplified.  Michigan will be on the "home" sideline like the Saints tonght - so TV will show the backs of our guys on the sideline during the broadcast.  Anybody see it different?  See you in Nawlins, GO BLUE!

I thought Michigan being the lower seeded team and subsequently wearing the white jerseys would have meant that we would have all that comes along with being a visitor to include the sideline.  Clearly I don't understand how they decide these things for a bowl game.  Does anyone have any insight to how these things are decided?

Face no more, there is a ticket dump going on.  I bought a pair for $60 in the upper level box.  Some in the 600 sections are just going for a few bucks each.  The face ship sailed a long time ago.  I now have two extras in 621 that I'm not even going to bother trying to sell.

Sure, the Giants and 49ers are the best teams in their divisions, but they’ll have to play each other again. The Packers and Lions will meet in Green Bay on Saturday for a chance to advance to the NFC Championship game. No one expects either of them to win; both are underdogs by double digits. But if one does manage to pull off an upset, fans across the country will be glued to their TVs as two of football’s most storied franchises square off for a trip to the Super Bowl.
