OT: Super Trooper Comedy Team Coming Soon.
"The Broken Lizard comedy crew is comprised of actors Jay Chandrasekhar (also a popular television director), Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske. The group wrote and starred in four films --2001's "Super Troopers" and 2006's "Beerfest," both cult classics among college crowds -- and have a fifth ("Slammin' Salmon") coming out later this year. For the live show, the guys will perform skits and solo stand-up routines. Oct. 24, Royal Oak Music Theatre, $29.50 in advance, $32 at the door."

Same day as Michigan vs. Penn State. I think these guys are hilarious, but I'll never get back from Ann Arbor in time.

I didn't even bother looking at the date. Damn. Not going now. M vs PSU is way more important.

Barry Badrinath: I was in Thailand playing ping-pong in Ding-Dang. A high stakes game in some opium den. Turns out, these aren't the types of guys who like to lose. When I beat them, they beat me. They worked me over good. And this is hard to say. They held me down and shoved a ping-pong paddle up my ass.
*
Steve "Fink" Finklestein: Ah geeze Barry! I don't know what I'd do if someone shoved a paddle-handle up my ass!
*
Barry Badrinath: It wasn't the handle! I've been shitting pancakes ever since!
*
Great Gam Gam: You and I are not so different, Mr. Badrinath. I've had all kinds of things shoved up my ass. But I got over it!
*
I love that movie.

i caught the movie in january when they premiered it at sundance. great cast in that one, including the impossibly hot cobie smulders. they answered questions about everything, including the next super troopers, which seems to be their next big project. they said that enough time has gone by since the first one and that the script was finished.
oh, and they were all at the bar after the premiere. farva (kevin heffernan) really can drink like nobody's business.
