OT: Sunday NFL Divisional Playoffs

Just a half hour of entertainment before the big game today, then pick back up here for the big NFL game. Go Brady. Probably don't go Pete Carroll. (But go Alan Branch, and Tim Jamison, to some extent Ryan Mallett, though I hope I only see you if the score is the Pats up by 50, and of course, go Zoltan!)

Russell Wilson is easy to root for. I really like this kid.

However...San Fran looks mighty unstoppable (at least offensively) right now, so perhaps the winner today is ultimately meaningless. Hoping for a great set of games today, and some nailbiter conference championships.

I like him, too...anytime you break a record held by Sammy Baugh, you're pretty good.

Still, as an actual Atlanta native, watching this game summed up life as a Falcons fan.  Great hopes and expectations, an inconceivable letdown, and then remembering that Matt Ryan has the ability to bend time and space as if he were a character in the TV series "Heroes".

I'm pretty sure I've developed an emotional detatchment disorder following this team...watching the fourth quarter collapse was like "Oh, really?", and then watching the last drive was like "Well, obviously."

So, the Falcons brought all of Fulton County on the blitz and still mananged to pass for a first down, and naturally, the Falcons add to the drama with an illegal substitution.

...and after a review, the Seahawks get a TD in a sort of awkward, bumbling way. 28-27 Seattle after being in a major 20-0 hole at halftime.
