Not exactly Garnett level news, but last night at the Michigan Theater as Michigan recruiting hearts were breaking the Sundance Film Festival was showing “For a Good Time, Call …", the 3rd year in a row one of their films has shown here. (And the biggest theater/crowd to see any Sundance film). Besides being pretty damn funny, the movie also features
Farmington Hills native and U-M theater and drama grad (’07) James Wolk, who plays the role of Charlie, Miller’s tactless, self-involved boyfriend.
I figured he was recent enough that some board members maybe went to school with him, or even back in high school. I don't know himi personally, but am always glad to see any Michigan person succeeding. (He also mentioned he'd would start on the tv show Happy Endings starting February 8th).
AA.com had an article covering it, as well as some YouTube links of the post show Q&A, which I'm sure leads to more video (looks like there are at least 6), if you're interested.

The first, for a fix, and the rest you can check out on your own if it interests you.

Always great to see the Michigan Difference at work
