He was smart to not say no. Im tired of Boras, of course Id prob like him as my agent. Well except A Rod who fired him and went back to the Yankees haha.

Tigers signed Jacob Turner, expected to be a future #1 but not for a few years.

Interesting considering that the previous record holder for signing bonus was Mark Prior, whose career kind of flamed out. Should be interesting to see how patient everyone is with his development.

My guess is that he becomes an above-average pitcher for a bad team, kind of like Zach Duke in Pittsburgh. You think he'll be great, but you're never sure because he plays on a bad team.

That division is as weak as it has ever been. This is Washington's chance I guess... Florida's never going to sustain any success, Atlanta has a bunch of young pitching but nothing else, Philly is very good but they might fall into the trap of reaching too far to get back to the top, which would set them back, and New York is in awful shape financially. If they would spend even the league average, DC could be a contender in 2011.

Strasburg right now is the best deal in baseball
