Women's boxing sucks.  It's the equivalent to having a male beauty pageant.

Still think Rousey would beat Money?  People are cray.

The fact the main card had fighters from Poland, Canada, Austrialia, Brazil, New Zealand, Netherlands, along with the USA really backs that up. It's pretty much the number two sport in Brazil after soccer and it's growing all throughout Europe but go ahead, use it as a dig against the American society.

Cockfighting is a felony in 40 states but we're happy to have two humans beat each other unconscious.  UFC is trash.

You gonna cry me a river along with your whining?

Fact of the matter is combat sports are still sports at the end of the day where you try to hit the opponent without getting hit back, something Mayweather mastered.

KOs and injuries are unfortunate side effects of getting caught off guard. These people know what they're getting into.

I would like to see how much of a beating a football player takes throughout a season compared to a fighter who may fight 4 times tops in a year.

is pretty darn violent as well, and considering your presence on this board you must be a fan of it, so dont sit too high up on that horse. I haven't heard of any high schoolers that have died this year doing mixed martial arts.

And I certainly respect those who are so good at their craft. However, Rousey was getting a little too arrogant for my taste, and I must say, it was nice to not only see her get knocked down a peg, but knocked the fuck out in the process. A little humble pie never hurt anyone.

I don't know. I just have trouble respecting a sport where anyone gets to punch an unconscious person until someone physically makes them stop. Some of them are great athletes and I won't say it isn't a sport, just not one I have ever desired to watch.

I actually feel bad for Rousey. It did seem like she was getting a bit too arrogant, but there isn't much that's more humiliating than having millions of people watch you get knocked unconscious. Risks of the job I guess.
