Notes
*Games Featuring major clubs are in bold.
*If you don’t see a league or team listed that you want to follow and discuss, let me know and I’ll add it (within reason). I’m not going out of my way to make sure Scunthorpe or Drogheda United are covered here.
*I have heard the voice of the people. Time has shifted to your beloved Eastern Time Zone. I am a benevolent God.
Enjoy, cheers, and Go Blue!

Apparently we need to get off UM fan from Sydney's lawn.

Didn't take long for that downvote.

A miracle here from Swansea would just be the neatest little thing.

Probably the only Ligue 1 follower here but none of these games are good today. Monaco should run rampant over Guingamp and Lille/Bordeaux would have been good a few years ago before both teams imploded.
Just looking forward to Le Classique tomorrow. PSG-Marseille. That'll be a fantastic one

I don't follow league 1 but after Monaco gave my City a test of all tests this week, they have certainly piqued my interest. Their youth and balls to the wall attacking style is a blast to watch. I would love to have Mendy and m'bappe on my squad.

They're awesome to watch. They are loaded with young guys. Probably the only team (Nice excluded because who knows how long their talent will stay before being poached) that can knock my PSG off the top spot for years to come

I am also a Ligue 1 enthusiast, actually. Excellent race this year between Monaco/PSG/Nice.
Le Classique should be interesting. PSG is rounding into form in 2017 (although their most recent match was so-so) but OM usually raises its game for this one, and the Vélodrome can get incredibly loud now that it has a roof over it.
OM has a great fanbase. I was in southern France a couple of years ago and their jerseys were everywhere, even in cities with other L1 clubs like Toulouse and Montpellier. I hope they can return to prominence under McCourt's ownership.

OM has a great fanbase and are one of the most successful and historic clubs in the country, but, similar to the thoughts of every other Parisian, Marseille is a shithole. Both city and club. That new stadium is beautiful though, I saw the outside of it a couple years ago when I was down there. Looks great on TV too.
PSG is coming off the Barca thrashing and should be running full steam ahead. OM's stars are not 100% but that won't matter. It'll be a crazy one.
I have always liked Nice though, nice to see them doing well and that is a great town.

Yeah, I am pulling for Nice to win the league. Love that city and it can use some good feeling after last summer's tragedy.
They also have a great new stadium.

Chelsea look like title winners. Nice game by them today.
February 25th, 2017 at 1:54 PM ^
It's nearly a forgone conclusion at this point, sadly.
February 25th, 2017 at 12:30 PM ^
So Leicester City won it all last year. Now they are bad. Why? Did they lose a lot of players from last year?
February 25th, 2017 at 12:49 PM ^
They lost a top-quality guy in N'golo Kante, a midfielder, to Chelsea, and it appears he was crucial to the team's success. Throw in the fact that Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, two key players last year, are performing well below what they did in the championship season. Plus, LCFC's defense is not good, and they need a better keeper. It really was a magical run last year.

oh wait...

Seems like forever since they've last played. Hopefully they can get past that ass whooping Bayern laid on them a couple weeks back... COYG!
