The USWNT is about to take on S. Korea in NJ.  Abby Wambach scored her 156th goal in the last game (4-1 win over S. Korea), and is two shy of Mia Hamm's record of 158.

Edit:  According to Wikipedia (already updated for Abby), Christine Sinclair, 30, of Canada has 145.  Kristine Lilly, former US player, had 130, Birgit Prinz of Germany had 128.  Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd are tied for 10th (US list) with 44 goals.

Here's the men's list:  Ali Daei of Iran had 109, Pelé had 95.  Top active player (12th) is Miroslav Klose of Germany with 67.  More competition in the men's game, of course.
