I spent those 2 hours with my son honing his basketball skills while the game was recording. Afterwards I went home, promptly deleted the game without watching and now I'm at the Gordon Ramsey restaraunt "BurGR" in planet Hollywood (Vegas)...

At about 2:30 I said eff it, and made a raging pot of chili.  Kids are home from college and they actually liked it.  The old man can still cook.

Lotsa hills, I'm bushed. Watched something I recorded on DVR , kept shifting to faster fast-forward settings, it was over in minutes. Tonight: a Beatles Theme Party, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, which I actually vaguely remembered because my (at the time) 14 yr old sister insisted. For the party, my wife is making a dish called "Lovely Pita!"

Worked out, made breakfast for the kids, took apart the crib, assembled the toddler bed, took the crib and some other stuff to the storage rental, got indian food for lunch with the family, changed a few lightbulbs around the house, worked for a few hours, went for a walk to the park and took photos of the kids, made dinner.  I just opened a bottle of wine and am watching Real Genius with wife and said family.  Pretty good day.

Played golf. About 35 degrees out and very windy. Not the smartest thing we've ever done. But on the bright side, didn't have to worry about the water hazards. Could just walk across them if you wanted to.

Today?  It is so fucking cold in Ann Arbor that all one can do is stay inside and pretend that alcohol does not control one's life.

The dog is setting records for the fastest pee and dump that a dog can accomplish.  No need to even sniff a good spot.  Just get it over with and run back to the door.

Unfortunately it appears that alcohol may control the life.

But the best ice dancers in the world are UM students!  Go Blue!
