Everyone remembers the story of the little guy, Jack Hoffman, who scored a touchdown at the Nebraska spring game while battling brain cancer. The world learned today that his cancer is in remission and he no longer needs chemotherapy. Of course he will need monitoring and maybe more treatment in the future, but his case is moving in a very positive direction, and it's great to start the day off reading some good news like that. Because fuck little-kid cancer, man - it's the worst thing ever. Go Jack!
OT: Small Nebraska fan's cancer is in remission
Good job jack keep it up
Is someone peeling an onion in here?
Awesome story though.
Good to see this story have a happy ending to it.
great news. No kid should have to endure that. Heck, nobody should but it's especially hard to see a child battle that. Hope it's a huge step to his eventual defeating it.
Cringed a little when I saw the title (on the iPhone app you couldn't see the in remission part). Kick cancer's ass, little dude.
congrats to Jack and all of his family!!!!!
It's about as eloquent as I get regarding this subject.
This one's a good one.
I hope the boy in Ohio who had cancer and named it Michigan gets to see the same results.
that's right cancer, fuck off! big thanks to huskers and strength of a young life. Congrats Jack
I couldn't agree more and will pray it doesn't come back. I love the support that the Cornhuskers and Rex Burkehead have given the kid.
