I don't know if I believe it. This sounds like an Ace Williams special to me. Oh wait, it's from a major newspaper, which would never print anything inaccurate or damaging about the local college football program.

// investigates "War . . ." review, referenced above, at Amazon; ///confirms that the following is still posted there as "The most helpful favorable review":
I was given this book as a gift for my constipated dog Messner. He circled it twice before settling down and relieving himself for the first time in days. We plan on picking up a case of these.
(Nice to see Mike Messner's namesake still holding the line for the team.) ////cackles gleefully, enjoys warm feeling of satisfaction inside. (Maybe I shouldn't say this after the last sentence . . .) Thank you, Benoit Balls. BTW, I googled to make sure I understood your e-name correctly. It appears everyone is calling them "Ben Wa Balls" these days.

was trying to create a story out of nothing regarding a coach taking some heat. This is the SEC and Florida. Players are frequently forced out if they don't meet expectations. The number may be slightly higher than average. However coming off a bad year, it's hardly surprising.

if all of them, for one reason or another, are buried on the depth chart.

One broke his ankle and watched the future pass him by.  Another will graduate this weekend and, having done little while at FL, will seek another school where he can work on his masters and get PT.  5-9 219 LB Safety not getting PT and probably never will at FL.  6-4 272 LB basketball player project for TE.  A QB buried on the depth chart, and another OL buried on the depth chart.

Maybe the latter two, RS freshmen both, read some tea leaves or tossed some chicken bones and are getting out while the getting is good.  I'm guessing Trayon Young is leaving by mutual agreement, perhaps even having an offer to play BB.

Now wait a second. Has Muschamp gotten his five years? Shouldn't a coach get at least that to prove himself? Coordinators and position coaches? Sure, I could see only giving them a couple of years.

In reading the article, OT Ian Silberman will be a graduate thus making him a college free agent who is able to be eligible upon arrival. He is not likely to leave the south, but our depth chart has to at least look interesting to him.
