OT: Shawn Crable Cut By Patriots
Crable was cut by the Pats today. After being drafted in the 3rd round in 2008 he never played in a game for the team. Here's hoping he gets a chance somewhere else.

I hope that he gets his due chance, and that the Patriots didn't overemphasize his mettle on special teams in practice.

First Spygate, now Belichick and his cronies found Mgoblog. Where does it end?
he was put on the "active" PUP list (along with Welker), with speculation that this was to give him more time to rehab while letting other LB candidates more early practice time without jeopardizing his chances to play, but at the bottom was an edit: a link to a Boston.com reporter's tweet that he'd been injured again. I was afraid this might be the next step in the story. (Can't post the link to the original story-- on cbssports.com-- because it's been replaced with the updated story of him being cut.) Reminds me of Bennie Joppru's three years of injury in the pros. Hope it's just that the Pats don't feel they can invest any more time waiting for him and that Crable still has a chance to play elsewhere.

I figured Crable's freakish body structure/speed would have suited the Pats defense. He should find his way elsewhere, tweener hybrid types have value.
is a good athlete, but will never get bigger for some reason. His upper body is HUGE, but has a twig lower body. It's probably genetics since he can't seems to bulk up his lower body.
