I find its a great way to get news and opininion from both sides of the aisle. Now, of course, it does take a while to cull a list of dependable sources who tweet intelligent stuff out.

If you do twitter right, it works like this:

Facebook is people you know saying stuff you don't care about.

Twitter is people you don't know saying stuff you do care about.

That's a good way of looking at it. I don't have a facebook or instagram, but I'm on twitter regularly. And my twitter account doesn't have my name or photo. I don't follow anyone I actually know on a personal level. I strictly use it for news, sports and entertainment. I could see why people think it's "stupid", but I literally get more insight from it than any other source of media. Why wait for the news to come on if you can follow a few outlets and gather crazy amounts of information in the quickest possible time? I also learn more about recruiting on Twitter from a few key people than I'd ever learn elsewhere.

"What you mean to say Is, couldn't care less. By saying you could care less, implies you actually could care less. Couldn't means you are at your limit for caring."

What YOU mean to say is "couldn't means you are al your limit for NOT caring." Which is to say, if "Caring" was on a scale from high "care a lot" to low "do not care at all," "couldn't care less" means you have reached the lowermost point on the "DO NOT CARE" side of the thermometer...

Man, this shit's complex!

Normally I stay out of a thread I have no interest in, no need to read or comment.  This one is OT, good poster, no idea what this is about but I'll check it out.  It's a really dumb feud by two people acting childish on twitter.

The only thing it does for me is inform the notion of how we ended up with a president who tweeted during the campaign and continues to do so.  Apparently there are people who actually believe someone wins this type of exchange.

I quit watching when every new guard and forward thought they were going to be the next Michael Jordan and forgot there were 4 other players on the court. About the same time, many teams started implementing the hack em if you can't stop em philosophy. That was unwatchable in my opinion. The game may have changed, but the NBA has not done anything to bring me back so I assume it's still the same. And yes, I know 12 people are going to immediately post Golden State and San Antonio, blah, blah. That's two out of 30 teams.

Man, 2017 Shaq is the worst. Here he goes making me sympathetic to Javale McGee again.

Shaq's even angrier than when Barkley told him "first of all, you're not a good fighter." He needs to stop the tough guy routine.
