Failure on so many levels. Thoughts?
...that something is too offensive to be funny, but that does it.
anal sex usually is!!!
Dont confuse anal sex with child molestation or rape. If you don't know the difference, you need to learn.
Maybe you could show me?
If you can't make a joke about rape then what can you make a joke about? lol (get it? I made a joke about a joke not getting laughed at. ha ha right?)
Go watch some Tosh.0 until you get desensitized lady; censorship is unamerican momma
If you look at the rest of the comments here you'd see most everyone thinks this is over the line.
Seems to be you are in the minority and should probably get a bit sensitized to the issue - Daniel Tosh is funny, but that does not mean his content is in good taste.
You dont know me. I have a very politically incorrect sense of humor...but your comments are deeply offensive. You are the only one laughing, so enjoy your 12 year old humor by yourself, Richard.
Wait until you, your mother or daughter gets assaulted and see how funny you think it is.
I prefer to remain sensitive. I am not censoring you, just using my own freedom of speech to let you know you are being a jerk.
Your wife must be so proud.
Do you feel better yet?
Stay Classy, LSU.
1: That's WAY WAY WAY over the line, and
2: Shouldn't it be "than"? The shirt conveys an entirely different message than it intends...
Dude, what does mine say?
It's continued on the back, and when it's all strung together reads "I'd rather shower at Penn State then support Alabama, than break up with my sister (available in his/hers - the purple ones read "brother" instead of "sister")
So let's not assume just because they're from the south that they don't know how to use than/then.
Wow their grammar is atrocious.
The 'then' kind of completes it.
So he's basically saying that he'd like to take a shower at PSU, then go root for Alabama.
Sounds about right.
First the shower, then on to cheering for Alabama? Apparently, the shirt's creator also likes LSU.
The then/than screw up doesn't really matter since no one in Louisiana will catch it anyway.
Too soon, bro.
Wow...must still be a little bitter about that championship game but that's kind or strong. Not that I care that the joke is being made at Penn States expense, or that that they're shifting on Bama, but you have to think of the victims.
Are best ignored.
That looks photoshopped to me.
but it would be pretty good work as the lettering does a nice job of following the creases in the shirt (look at the last couple a's in Alabama). Those same letters also have a shifting of color expected when following the folds.
It would take someone pretty good (not necessarily monuMental good, but better than average) to pay attention to these details when making the photoshop image. Someone that good would not have screwed up "then" and "than" in all likelihood.
Yeah, the terrible grammar is the only redeeming thing about this. Just in case the wearer of this shirt wasn't sending a clear enough message that he or she is an idiot, they also admitted that although they are LSU fans, they would still like to shower at PSU and cheer for Alabama.
I give this five 'YIKES' out of a possible five for tastelessness.
best. movie. ever.
That's pretty tasteless and I don't think I want to hear any suggestion which would inspire the alternative course of action mentioned on the shirt.
I wouldn't consider this a fail, they make it clear that that's exactly what they wanted to say. I'd call it more of a tastless joke that will never be acceptable.
I'm going to hell, because I totally laughed when I saw this
And she doesn't?
unlike the shirt, this actually made me lol
needs more swastika.
What idiots. How in the hell ......do you spell "go" wrong? Sheesh.
Well at least they will be clean, when they root for Alabama.
Living in Gainesville (not by my choice), going to LSU is like visiting Columbus. You need to rent a car at the border in order to survive. LSU is considered the worst stadium, second to Ohio (the Horseshoe) and Florida (the Swamp).
Takes guts, man. Takes guts.
Putting the damn in that statement gives it a more southern feel.....
I'm just gonna put this here.
they want their frisky soap cake and eat it, too? I mean, part one suggests the wearer is OPTING for the Sandusky treatment, right? That is so bad on so many levels that its maker should just go back to their mom's basement and remain there until dinner Saturday, at least. It takes pathetic to extremes seldom dreamed of, even in chemically poisoned and chromosomally damaged Baton Rouge.
How about 30; 280plus, cornfed, midwestern, tractor tire lifting, hay bail tossin, ax swingin monsters invading campus with 40 cases of bud heavy in tow? Enough about msu.. Wolverines outsource their ass whoop.
I'm sure this shirt is selling like hot cakes in Baton Rouge.
Even people in Louisiana are starting to believe they are Alabama fans
Wow, so you'd like to shower at Penn State, and then go root for Alabama? This is why, outside of Vandy, you won't see an SEC school come remotely close to a US News World Report Top Schools list.
Beyond that, this is the lowest of the low. What kind of pathetic scumbag had the nerve to create a shirt like this? I'd be willing to bet, however, you'd see the Honey Badger wearing this around campus. That self-centered shit has his head so far up his ass that its sickening.
of some two bit shirt printing operation. We have our own versions of this shirt; You can't miss them being peddled around the stadium on game days by guys with backpacks conceiling the unregistered product.........
yikes. that is tasteless..
but, what else would you expect from the ESS-EEE-SEE
This is not an "SEC shirt;" it's an LSU shirt. While plenty of people in Lose-ee-anna would be happy to tell you that LSU, indeed, is the SEC, they aren't. I'm sure the fans at most of the member schools in the SEC are as disgusted as everyone else. Some of them might have even picked up on the homonym.
Yeah. If someone wants to refer to Columbus hooligans as representative of the Big Ten, I'd have some issues with that.
The "fail" here is strictly on one school.
Ignoring the spelling mistake (or lack of understanding the difference between then and than) I don't see what the big deal is here. I mean, people say stupid crap all the time.
I often hear people say things like "I would rather take a bullet in the head than..." or "I would rather stick bamboo shoots under my fingernails than...".
If it was supposed to be a joke, I agree that it wasn't funny, but the shirt was intended to depict the designers distain for Alabama by saying he would rather endure something everyone agrees is horrifying than support a team he hates.
It isn't like he is saying what happened at Penn State was funny or anything. He's actually saying it was terrible, but for him he would rather have that happen to him than ever root for Alabama.
Now I know it is easy for someone who has never had that happen to them to make that claim, but it isn't really a whole lot different than saying they would rather take a bullet in the head than do something many others would think is trivial.
Do I think what he said was stupid? Absolutely. But do I think it was intended to take away from the seriousness of what happened at Penn State. I'd say it is just the opposite.
