OT - Seahawks send out Brochure to the Agents of Potential Undrafted Players
http://nfl.si.com/2014/05/06/seattle-seahawks-brochure-agents-undrafted…
Brochure details their successes with undrafted free agents, with their 2013 team employing 8 undrafted players. I'm not a Seahawks fans but it would be nice to see some of our less heardled Wolverines go their and get a real chance to compete for a roster spot.
Waiting for the grammar police in 3, 2, 1...
There, they're, their.
Whats youre problem man?
I see it! Maybe a "heardled" English major could help here.
Here's the link to the actual brochure in all its PDF glory - LINK
It actually has some interesting stats in it. For example, the Seahawks were eighth in the NFL in the number of free agent signings who make the active roster - 15 players since 2010 out of a pool of 68 for the Seahawks have made it to the active roster. Seattle also admits to being second in draft picks released in their rookie year over that same time period, so they did choose some interesting and obscure stats to sell this idea.
Tricky.
So which Michigan draft prospects got a brochure?
This seems like a thing that could backfire. For one, it could be taken as "we think you're not getting drafted" which will turn some guys off, and two, there isn't an agent anywhere who won't go to the other 31 teams and say, "hey, this brochure proves the Seahawks are interested in my client as a free agent, you should take him in the actual draft if you want him."
Seems like everyone is impatient for the draft. This could have waited
every agent has more than one client and if they are doing their jobs right their clients will know more or less where they stand with regard to how the nfl views them. I just think this cheesy. Agents should know what team are successful with. undrafted free agents
Oh.
I guess it's just the hot air coming from Mel Kiper.
