Plus, having our D chase around Denard in practice helps.

Called a way different game against Umich last year....we will be more prepared and Braxton Miller s training wheels won't suddenly be off
Mattison came through at the end of the game, when it mattered.
Your handle alone is flamebait. OSU caught Mattison off guard by going verticle against us, unlike they had done all year. Our secondary is much improved as is our linebacking, so my hope is to contain Miller better this year.
Mattison knows Meyer's offense like the back of his hand since he was Meyer's D coordinator for a couple of years. Nice advantage
Bring heat against spead.
They don't look bad. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Indy. The leaders division sucks. Some are predicting Purdue to have a chance to win their division.
.... What are they gonna be doing in Indy?
Seriously? Indy? Have you even paid attention to the past year?
If they buy tickets they would be there I guess. I mean other than that I'm not sure how else they would get there.
They won't be in Indy because they broke the rules for years.
I would be extremely surprised to see them in Indy.
Edit: LOL guy got demolished, I thought I was the only one commenting but once I posted 4 others had as well.
Indy has a restraining order against them.
have you been paying attention to college football for the last few months, pal?
Is their band there?
Atkinson for ND looks good.
Not sure if serious. They can't go to Indy.
Watching the ND game....it drives me crazy that their Adidas uniforms actually fit properly. Ours have always looked sloppy and loose IMO. You would think the jersey would be the same or nearly the same cut, etc.
Give them that. Not much else about them has looked good for a long time.
Sorry, I'm dumb.
Any Wisconsin fan watching just had an unpleasant flashback.
Those of us at the game has the exact same "where's the line of scrimmage" question as we did back in October.
Wow their defense looks horrible. They get pressure, but it looks like the o-line just sucks. Along with that, they leave wide receivers wide open all the time
You can extrapolate nothing team-wise out of a spring game where 1's and 2's are mixed, the QB can't run and they are (probably) running watered down schemes on both sides. The only things you can really get out of it would take a close film breakdown of assignments when you know what they should be doing in the first place.
You are right there. I looked at a few boards last week and laughed about what people had to say about us. This is a practice and with less intensity than normal.
Miller is probably an All Big-10 type player at some point in his career. Maybe not this year, but next year he might be the best QB in the conference. That said, Guiton is terrible. OSU can make some noise this season, but not if Miller misses any time.
Is TP driving in the 500? I know he has a rep for lovin' on some fast cars, maybe they can have an alumni reunion and compare tats and NFL prospects over a jug of milk.
Just caught a quick glimpse of someone in the crowd wearing a Michigan shirt with a big block M. That was a pleasant sight. Props to that guy.
Just saw a graphic during Urban Liar's halftime interview: 2012 #3 ranked recruiting class. What's up with that? The highest rank I've seen for them is 7-8.
Why is that considered trolling? It was a legitimate question.
EDIT: More specifically, has anyone seen them ranked that high and by what service/media outlet?
Probably because you called him Urban Liar. Take that to MLive
Because you said "Urban Liar" like one of those children on RCMB or Bucknuts. Show some class. We let our actions on the field do our trash talking for us. And yes, they were #3 on ESPN I am fairly sure.
has them at 6 and us at 7 FWIW. Not sure where that #3 is coming from...
Scout has them as the #3 class and Michigan as the #4.
for the info.
EDIT: I am S-L-O
I can't believe that I forgot about the Ohio post season ban. I should work for the bleacher report. Wisconsin should win the leaders. The legends division will be a three way race. It's unfortunate, but sparty looks like a real threat again. Some say they are the best in the B10 from top to bottom. That was a scouting report from the B10 network. They watched every team practice at least once during the spring. If Michigan can stop the run like last year then they should win the B10. The back 7 of the D is good, and the offense should be improved. It would be nice if the D could get pressure on the QB this year. The pass rush was non existent last season.
Notre Dame's quarterbacks look terrible and their defense looks worse.
Denard with 600 yards of offense this time? (In addition to Toussaint's 400, obviously.)
to Notre Dame's defense.
Just caught the very end and the announcers were talking about how the defense dominated. I'm not kidding.
OSU's OLine definitely looks vulnerable in pass protection. Hopefully we can use our smaller, quicker DLine to exploit that.
Miller is sporadic, making great throws interspersed with awful ones. He should be fine, but if he gets hurt though, they might be in trouble with Guiton.
Overall, I don't think it would be crazy to predict 8-10 wins for them this year.
We might just see them in Indy after all.
RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE INELIGABLE
I heard was 81,112 despite ~40 degree and rainy weather. Columbus is getting pumped for the Urban Renewal.
thinking the same thing. If something happens to Miller it could be a long year. I remember all Denard's boo-boos a couple years back and how it impacted our offensive production. I think that's an inherant risk of spread and shred. I also wonder if their D will be able to hold up if they have to spend 40 minutes a game on-field, if the O scores too quickly.
Not flaming, but 81,000+ fans there despite rain and cold.. A lot of excitement in Columbus right now.
At first I read that as, "A lot of excrement in Columbus right now"
81,000+ fans and only 5 coolers. Yep. That's a lot of excrement. Besides what else is there to do in Ohio on a Saturday? There are only so many times you can go to the library computers and look up porn.
81,112 is record for spring game attendance title, but let me know when they have the largest crowd watching a regular season college game anywhere in America.
