OT Scientists have found a cure for color blindness!
For the many color blind people like myself... there is hope!

It only mentions red-green color blindness though. Which I am. For now.

For inadvertently making me click to a Fox News link. I wish I had noticed before I clicked through.

Dude. Don't be an ass and drag your politics into this. How do you prioritize the half-cent you just gave Fox News over the potential curing of someone's life-altering, previously incurable condition?
My cousin is red-green colorblind - this is awesome news for him. I think to celebrate I'll go give Fox News a few more half-cents.

Life altering? I mean...I know quite a few guys with r-g color blindness (one being a genetics professor/researcher, and interestingly enough is against implementations of gene therapy on humans) and none of them seem all that disadvantaged.

Fox News or not (prefer not) but I'm red-green colorblind, so this rocks.

Actually, this is kindof old news, and it has, in the words of my genetics professor "no medicinal value" because we aren't allowed to do gene therapy on humans, which was how this experiment was run. It was actually more of a proof-of-concept experiment for gene technology in monkeys.
