Although I liked 2012 better than this year
Strange, I thought just the opposite. I like this year much better. Seems they backed off the malt a bit and its a little clearer this year - both of which I think are improvements.
Last year was much more Earthy, if that's a designation, I liked it a s I liked this year's. looking forward to their October and Nosfertsu
Homebrewed Rye IPA, Stout, APA, and Belgian Dark Strong. Always on tap.
Awesome. I've got a Belgian Wit that's been two weeks in bottle and I'll do a first taste today.
Nice! Let us know how it turns out. I racked more Rye IPA to the secondary and kegged my American Wheat today. MoAR beer!
It tastes fantastic. It was actually an American Wheat recipe that I added extra coriander and orange peel to get the Wit style. It's light and I can see why wheat beers make such good summer beers.
I need ideas for the Michigan football season batch now.
I always go with Rye IPA for the season. An English Brown would be nice for the non-hop heads.
Metamucil
Homemade Peach Lemon wine
If you're talking about the Kuhnhenn Brewery in Warren, they make an excellent English-style beer called Conundrum. The Hefeweizen is pretty good too.
For the time being, as I work on marinating some pork, I am working on a Le Trappe Dubbel, a product of the famed Koningshoeven brewery in The Netherlands. I found a store in Livonia that actually sells it - it is sort of difficult to find a good selection of Trappist beers in Wayne County.
Im heading to a wedding in a few hours, so im finishing off a few Newcastle Brown Ale's, then ill drink whatever they are offering at the open bar later on. Also get to tag along on the party bus to the reception so hopefully they have some tasty treats on that as well
I'm also drunk
Moosehead, Canadian, and a little OV later tonight. Some good old Canadian drinkin
Summit Saga IPA. Great summer choice.
Grey Goose
What its a semi dd
I was thinking bra size initially, but then I figured it out.
I'm actually brewing right now. It is what I like to do the day of a very big game because it helps me take my mind of things. I brewed the day of the Florida game. I brewed the day of the Syracuse game. Let's hope a similar result happens for my team tonight*.
I have a growler of Jack's Abby's Second Anniversary DIPL that I might have to bust out soon. I don't really want to drink too much because I have to head into the city later and drink some more.
Go bruins fwiw
Diet Mountain Dew.
In brazil, drinking Skol, the pisswater they call beer down here. In other news, cachaca is delicious (by comparison).
Used to live in brazil. Have you had chopps Brahma? Same price as skol but I think it tastes better
Becks
Laphroaig 10, neat. Try it
I'll have a dirty ashtray, neat.
Four Hands Nitro Milk Stout is my new favorite beer.
Four hands or Left Hand?
Two alcohol fetishization threads on the top half of the front page?...
This place is so highbrow.
Labatt
Coronas, grilling out, and swimming. Perfect non-football Saturday!
Sitting in a Boston pub watching Italy-Brazil, having a Sam Adams, because of course.
Headband in my glass bowl!
Here in Zürich, I'm having the only decent beer that is reasonably available: Paulaner, from Munich. The Swiss beer mostly sucks.
Hard sell to make to my Euro friends, but you are brewing the best beer in the world now in the States. Sure would love a cold Dale's Pale Ale right now.
The King of Beers
Sierra Nevada Torpedo. It's not DaisyCutter but since I can't get that out West, this will have to do for now.
Sierra Nevada Hoptimum today to enjoy while watching the Blackhawks game tonight. It will pair nicely with some excellent Chicago style deep dish pizza....garbage style.
Vin de Bourgogne Pinot Noir, getting shitfaced in Montmartre, Paris
Controversial.
Controversiale.
Home brewed ipa
I don't have enough points to post, but what the hell is going on with Aaron Hernandez? I haven't really been paying attention with work and the finals. So can anyone enlighten me please?
And allegedly maybe executed some guy
Yeah dude is in trouble.
home made so-dee-pop
I had a White Oak this afternoon, found it on sale at Sam's in Durham for $9.99 a bottle - a steal. Then a 2010 KBS and now I'm on to the chocolate oak aged yeti.
Some Shellback Spiced Rum, delicious for the price. With some A&W and a lime slice. A slightly odd combination but don't knock it until you try it. All while trying my hand at smoking some steaks on a charcoal grill. Today's a good day.
Just got home from work, so Founder's Centennial IPA, BBQ chicken and some MLB.tv
I think tonight I'm going to try my 75 minute IPA by dogfish head... I don't care for maple much, so I am a little leery
This is not one of their hits, drink it and be done with it.
Thanks for the advice, I had a beard of zeus first, now im debating what I should have that is currently in my fridge - Epic Cherry Belgian (forgot the name), Shorts The Liberator, Founders Imperial Stout, Dogfish Head 75 minute ipa. its been a rough day, so beer sounds good.
...Don was still chasing his liver. GOY/F empowered it with super-organ status, including the ability to run. However, since GOY/F only empowered my liver with speech, it has commanded that I consume copious amounts of Myer's and Coke. In another aMazing physiological development, my stomach is now telling me that it will accept nothing less than beer-boiled, grilled brats. Damn my internal organs for their alcoholic conspiracy.
Great Lakes Erie Monster and some High Street Honey Wheat Ale....love the micros. Being able to buy Growlers of draft to take home is a wonderful thing.
Drinking a Flying Dog Oyster Stout, dang delicious if you ask me. Creamy, smooth, yet has a very nice robust chocolate flavor. Loving it.
Seagrams VO Gold 8 year and seven up.... really smooth as of late
Now, 4 Peaks Kilt Lifter I brought back from Arizona.
Seghesio 2009 old vine zin with dinner.
I'm currently having an Avery Samael's Ale. It's an oak-aged English style strong ale, but I think it is way too big of a beer at 16.9% ABV. I also have some Odell Myrcenary DIPA for later, which is an incredible beer.
Sapporo.
Magic hat blind faith IPA. Decent, not great. Im from Oregon and now live in New Jersey and its hard to find a great IPA out here, suggestions welcome...
Lafefront Brewery IPA is spectacular but I'm not sure If you can get it out in Jersey.
Enjoying a Boatswain Chocolate Stout!
