OT - Saturday Night Drinking Thread? Commence.

My local liquor store (Discount liquor in Milwaukee area) has a manufacturer's coupon that brings a "Premium Tennessee Whiskey" to $7 from $22. So that's what I'm drinking.

Just finished watching the DVR of the Monaco Grand Prix and now I'm on to watching the Stanley Cup Finals and the Celtics-Heat game.

What are all y'all doing tonight?

I went to Peru a couple months ago and discovered the glory and wonder that is pisco sours. That stuff is simply outstanding. Drinking pisco neat.....that took some getting used to.

Exactly my thoughts! I figured the aging Celtics were the underdog....If the Heat somehow beat the Thunder then we can say the underdogs pulled it off....but I'm taking the Thunder in 5

Because everyone always says the same thing - Lebron is overrated and that the Heat never win close games in the playoffs when facing elimination. Well guess what, this was a close game in the playoffs while facing elimination, and they rose up to the challenge. The connotation with the celtics though was that they know how to be champions and could win the series. So the Heat proved the naysayers wrong.

Conference finals against an old Boston team are likely to look a bit different than NBA finals against OKC. Certainly this is a better outcome than flaming (again), for the Heat, but the team that was built to win "multiple championships" has won as many as I have. No proving the naysayers wrong, yet. They must win the championship for that, and IF they do, remember, they were supposed to.
