Well silver lining is that both the cubs and tigers (ie my fav teams) could trade from either capuano or harang and improve their sp depth. Both are really cheap and solid options for 4/5 spots. Actually cappy was pretty outstanding last year.

Don't think their payroll is anywhere near $300 million.  The article says they took on $300 million in payroll last season, add this in and they are at almost $450 million, but it's spread out over many years.

Bell's version, followed by Great Lakes. Hmm. I know that Bell's is a good MICHIGAN beer...and GL is from...cleveland...but I gotta say, I think that GL wins this contest. It's just, I dunno...spicier? But both of these X-Mas Ales are very nice.

In actuality, GL has quite a nice catalog of beers -- and I enjoy most of them. I always drink a few Edmunds around November 10 of each year.

Started with Sierra Nevada, then moving on to my Shangri La, which contains 6 Two Hearted Ale.

Just watched some of Colbert Report's Hobbit week and will have commenced viewing the Fellowship of the Ring.

The girlfriend goes "ooooh!  wow! big explosion!" for about 20 minutes and then promptly fell asleep.

They just defeated number 2 seed Stanford 3-1. They advance to Final Four in Lousiville.

The semifinals will be play Thursday,Dec.13. Michigan will face Texas. Penn State will play Oregon .
