If I was smoking, it'd probably be hookah or, if it was warmer out, a nice cigar.
Yep, that's Simba made out of a pineapple.
with some capers and onions. No bagel, because I am lo-carb these days.
No, I know what you are smoking.......

I'm drinking a double espresso from Colombia Patron beans that I roasted to medium myself.
Not that I loved Rich Rod less, but that I loved Michigan more.

What kind of roaster do you have? Are you partial to central/south American beans?
Fresh Roast SR 500. Nothing fancy, but it definitely does the job. I have always preferred Hawaiian beans or Sumatra for espresso (medium roast, of course) but the roaster came with a central American sampler pack so I'm just working through that. When it runs out I'm thinking of working on Ethiopian and seeing what I can get out of that.

Yeah I never liked Central Americans since they're so acidic. Ive always been partial to Sumatra so that sounds good and Ethiopians are my favorites. What temps are you using and what times are you getting your pops?
I'm actually finding that to be the case with all of these. Thing about Sumatra is usually I find it in the store, it has been toasted almost to a char (which is no good in espresso), but I think I will try some in my roaster next time I get an order. I honestly don't know the temperature but I put it on high and turn the fan down to medium high, and the pops come between 3-5 min in. Generally it takes over ten minutes at that setting to get it right. I'm guessing that means South American beans are much tougher.

Sometimes. It is difficult to know how long it takes to.get to the second pop because each kind of bean is so different. Some take longer than others. I'm finding though that if you don't then the bean is way under roasted. I'm new to it so I'm still learning.

This post is a lot better when taken out of the context of coffee...

If I wasn't applying right now, some bud on the porch to get rid of this hangover.
I was smoking last night, and this morning I'm drinking (coffee)!
Anyone else notice that back then everyone was using the back board much more? Just about all the shots today are right at the net, which isn't a bad thing, but hitting the square on the back board is a much higher precentage shot.
But sir, but sir, BUT NOTHING
I'd give you favorable odds on success, but not until you log off of Mgoblog.
Man ball. Formerly, somebody else.
I wonder when it changed. Nowadays it almost seems like it's "girly" or "lame" to use the backboard on shots

Got suckered in to doing it for my dad. I was home over Christmas and he was all like "Oh it must be terrible living in Michigan with only RWD cars (not really since I just take AATA everywhere and save gas), why don't you take my pickup back to Michigan for the winter?" Then a day later he's like "Oh and you could trailer up my Corvette and install all this stuff I bought over the winter if you want, since I know you like wrenching on cars." Since he's 65 and not so handy with a wrench I figured I owed him and now I have a project in my garage for the winter.

For me, it's an energy drink this morning.

Last night at the liquor store they had these EZ splitters on the counter for like a dolla so I bought one. Super excited to split this cigarillo now.
Amazing ... if he (C-Webb) had ever come to his senses and stayed within a few feet of the basket at all times, I really believe he'd be in the conversation for greatest NBA power forward of all time. Hands (unbelievable, really), "length," strength, other-worldly quickness ... the whole package for a low-post player.
P.S. Nice soundtrack, too ...

I don't think Webber's problem was really straying too far from the rim. His excellent passing skills served him well in the high post, and he eventually developed a good J.
Webber's only real problem as an NBA player was staying healthy. He seemed to miss 15-20 games every year.
Wow I forgot just how nasty Webber was...He was pulling those rebounds down like the ball was metal to his magnet hands...damn
