Muhhhhhlort
Malort is the worst Chicago thing ever.
It was our friends turn to pay and they chose Em Chamas Brazilian Grill and I went the full Ron Swanson on every beef and pork that came my way.

Did they have bacon wrapped shrimp? It combines his first favorite food with his third!

In the Orynx lounge in Doha, Qatar.
There is beer, but would rather wait for the Moet on my flight.
Those poor New Zealanders...
Hope it's a quick trip!

Still not home yet. In Dubai for 36 hours before taking the 14 hour flight home.
nothing like some genuine 'wild turkey', though not the kind you can drink.
Unserious question: do all MI hunters crank Fred Bear on repeat as they go out to harvest their take?
I'll join you in the hunt before too loooong! Before too loooong. Ahhh. Yeeeaahhh.
Probably not. However, my buddy and I cranked that song for at least three play right before heading out on a week long hike through Banff.
It is a pretty fucking awesome cut, whether you are a teenage thrill seeker or not.

Michiganders don't need an excuse to crank "Fred Bear".
is. a muscial group? song? hunting show?
i do have a bear bow that i hunt deer with in season, but it's not a 'fred bear' bow.
It's a Ted Nugent classic. I've never heard it on the radio outside of Michigan though. You should download the MP3!
Malort! Excellent. Hope you had it at the best establishment in Chicago - Galway Bay.

My first real date to my now fiancée included a few drinks at Galway Bay.

Dunkin' Donuts regular coffee, eggs over easy and toast.
From a baby bottle of water as a way to convince my daughter to do the same.
Coffee at home. Folgers. I like it. It happened. It's been a great morning.

baseball practice today + perfect weather = perfect sunday!
until i'm done using the chainsaw.
I would ask, "Where is your sense of adventure, man?" but then I imagine that like me, you're thinking that either you don't want to wake up in the morning and not remember how your neighbor's favorite birch tree ended up in pieces in the backyard or you don't want to tell the story of why daddy is now right-handed, as I probably would be. It's probably wise that my wife denied me any beer today until after I was done with the pruning saw.

Coffee, low sugar OJ, an English Muffin & a bowl of corn chex.
But I'm heading downtown to the Cavs/Celtics game in a few hours and TRUST ME - after a few pre-game beverages I'll be ready to go!
Let's
Go

Got married last night! So I drank a double rum and coke, a Fat Tire, and something else plus a few shots of Gentleman Jack! Good times, good times!

Welcome to the club. Drink up the newlywedness....you can love them till the day you die, but the walking on air feeling after the wedding is transient...soak up every minute...

Drank all day yesterday, but not really nursing a hangover as much as just sheer tiredness. Got some coffee, ready to take on the day.

I finally tried this season's Oberon and (OPINION ALERT) I hated it. Quickly went back to 2-hearted to get that awful taste out of my mouth. Blue moon is the better summer wheat IMO.
April 19th, 2015 at 11:41 AM ^
Don't tell that guy who works for Bell's who posts here, lest we get the defensive "It's exactly the same! Your taste buds just don't remember correctly!" Nope. It's an acrid imitation of Oberon this year.
I tried it yesterday for the first time this year and was really underwhelmed as well. I kept thinking to myself "did it always taste like this??" Very mediocre.
April 19th, 2015 at 12:15 PM ^
I thought people were claiming it was much better this year
April 19th, 2015 at 12:33 PM ^
Blue Moon seems to get a bad rap but I've always liked it. Further, I have to 3rd (4th?) the motion regarding this latest output of skunk piss they're trying to pass off as one of my favorite drinks.
