Above is a tweet from Devin Gardner.

Apparently Samantha Gordon (girl football player made famous on YouTube) attended Michigan's camp this year. Seems to still have the skills and I thought it was pretty cool that she came to Michigan.

Not a problem. That's the sort of stuff I am here to do.

As for the video, as someone with a daughter who has some interest in football and partially because of Michigan (and she's only 8), I thought this was pretty cool to watch. As someone said below, the fact that it is Michigan's camp too makes this even better. I think about it though - my daughter said something about being a linebacker, and based on her ability to close the doorway and stop her brother's run, I could see it.

My first thought was that this was the girl who got wrecked in Arena Football. Typing her name into Google yielded a Huffpost article from last year saying she was "focusing on soccer."

As the father of 2 little girls, that was totally adorable.  Also great to see her so passionate about something, and that it's Michigan makes it that much better.  Go Sam!

When she's doing the drills, she doesn't really look all that quick or fast even relative to the other campers. But then you put a football in her hands on the field and she just gets an added burst and quickness and really steps it up.

Hopefully she takes that same mentality to soccer (an above poster mentioned she was focusing on soccer), if you play that much faster than you practice, good things are ahead of her in that sport too (assuming foot skills and all that good stuff).

she actually looks incredibly smooth. you can tell an athlete by their center of gravity. Her gravity is always perfectly centred. she looks ways smoother than any of the boys in the drills and has really no wasted motion. its actually incredibly impressive.

I'm another dude with 2 daughters, college students now.  Sam Gordon sure has some impressive athletic ability, but what I admire the most is that she seems to have no fear.  That alone will take her quite far in life.
