OT: Sad news out of Alabama today
Gunman opens fire into a bar around mid-night last night wounds at least 17. It is a location that many students frequent. I just don't understand what drives people to do some of the things that they do. Thoughts go out to all that were injured.
Literally all you prove with this statement is how mathematical averages work. For some areas to be at or below an average, there have to be members of the set above it. Flint just happens to be on the wrong end of the equation from a personal perceptive.
The third largest terrorist act in our country's history (behind OK City and 9/11 was the Bath, MI elementary school massacre in 1927 - 85 years ago.
we just hear about things faster and from further away.
Alcohol and women is what drives people to do what they do. Maybe just women because women drive you to alcohol...
I am just amazed that things like this don't occur MORE OFTEN!
I mean, what do you think is going to happen when you mix alcohol with guns? And they passed laws saying that bars cannot bar people from entering with a gun if they have a valid permit.
From NRA's point of view, the only tragedy is that there was not another gun owner in the bar who could have shot the original shooter dead.
Hard for me to feel sorry with attitudes like that...
