The Buckeyes just won the mens NCAA volleyball title.
yes plz
Funny how Penn State is catching up to Purdue and Northwestern.
And Michigan State, honestly. They've still been a member of the Big Ten for 60 years. At this rate, PSU will exceed their current number in less than 2/3 the time.
Twenty-two Michigan Wolverines
put on the gloves of gray.
And as Revelli played The Victors,
they laid Woody Hayes away.
Do you have a link for that? I would love to be able to toss that around to friend and foe alike.
Here is a link to an updated one (I think my stats are from 2009)

Wisconsin surprises me. They were bad at both football and basketball for a long time, before turning both around in the 1990s. What have they historically been good at?
I'm surprised at the huge gap between Indiana and Purdue, too.
I thought they used to have a pretty good baseball program (as far as big ten standards go) as well as swimming and diving teams.
I recommend the death penalty for the whole buckeye program. No sports, no tattoos, no $0 cars for a whole academic year. Maybe then we'll get their attention.
Hey, don't knock OSU for the car deals - they're just trying to stimulate the economy by extending cash for clunkers.
Is that some sort of Justin Boren joke?
Ghosts are scary.
There's a men's volleyball team?
It's UNAMERICAN and UNACCEPTABLE to acknowledge the existence of athletic accomplishment outside of the football arts. Basketball is gravy and can be disregarded as chump change if need be.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
.....is that the average OSU sports fan is not aware that A) volleyball is a sport, and B) men are in fact allowed by law to play this sport. Is that where this is going? If so, I agree, having met enough OSU fans in my time.

As long as they are given free Smart cars, with Hello Kitty stickers on them. That will teach them a lesson.
Does OSU sponsor more varsity sports than us? I know they have men's volleyball and lacrosse and they also have hockey so what don't they have? No gymnastics? Or do they just offer 2 or 3 more varsity sports?
Loved the title.
Great piece too.
