OT - RIP, Peter Falk
Peter Falk died yesterday. I thought I'd post it here because I'm sure there are many of you who, like me, were huge fans of Columbo. Next time I light up a cigar, Mr. Falk, it will be in your honor.

Joinin fritz, Bo, and Benny amongst the best seats in the big house. Rest in peace
Not Jon Falk our legendary equipment manager.
I'm an idiot but for the sake of him still being alive I'll accept that. Thanks brother
I just saw Jon at dinner. (At dinner, not with him).
from... Syracuse University.
RIP, Lt. Columbo.
RIP, Lt. Columbo.
EDIT: So nice, I had to post it twice.
More than once.

<br>I thought he had one more question in him.... He will be missed, but live forever in rumpled reruns.
I gotta watch Murder by Death again.
One of the best. Check out Wings of Desire.
in his prime.
If you haven't seen it, the Princess Bride is excellent too imho.
I'm glad someone posted this thread. I was going to but I'm not sure the young un's would know what they missed.
That is one of my favorite movies.

One of my pops' favorite shows. Sad, sad day.
I have just been getting into the "Larry Sanders Show" and yesterday I saw the episode where the head writer and the runner are schtuping alll over the set, including in the studio where Peter Falk is being interviewed.
And this after not seeing him in anything for over 5 years.
I guess I killed him.
RIP and remember to serpentine.
but i thought he was already dead. :-/
Me too. I thought he passed away 4 or 5 years ago.
but nobody bothered to tell him.
Falk was, check out his turn as hoodlum Abe Reles in Murder, Inc.
They're saying he died of natural causes... but I think he knew too much!
If I were to attend his funeral, I'd half expect him to sit up in his coffin and say, "Oh, just one more thing ..."
I once walked into my parents' house and quickly turned the corner into the family room as my mom quickly changed the channel and acted all embarassed. It was honestly an 'I'm watching porn' reaction. It freaked me out, and I think she realized it because she hit 'last channel' and demonstrated that she was watching Columbo. So I'm pretty sure my mom has a crush on the man and she's going to be crushed.
Oh and I totally got her a Columbo DVD box set for Christmas that year.
I'm amazed how popular Columbo was in Europe. He's front page of the Le Figaro:
great character actor, and one of my favorites. If you haven't seen "The Great Race", check it out.
