Saw them in 1983 at a club outside Providence, my ears are still ringing. Sometimes the Chase is Better than the Catch, Lemmy. RIP. I believe that club later burned down and killed a bunch of people.

Just read this.

Bummer.  Lemmy could always put a smile on my face.

Add him to the list of people I miss.  I wish that list wasn't growing quicker than the list of new musicians that I like.

Lemmy on bass.  Scott Weiland on vocals.  B.B. King on guitar.  Phil Taylor on the kit.  Steve Mackay on sax.

That's a lot of talent.  Hopefully (U2 manager) Dennis Sheehan can get them all to play together.

A Lemmy cool story bro. I was a metal head growing up and one of my friends turned out to be a fantastic guitar player. He was second lead guitar for a band, Valient Thorr, that toured Europe with Motörhead. Needless to say that your almost killed my buddy as the amount of alcohol, Jack specifically, necessary to consume was too much. He quit after the tour.
He said that Lemmy's intake was prolific. He was astonished at the amount of altering chemicals that a human could consume on a daily basis.
