Silver lining: for those of you with both Apple TV and an HBO subscription, the HBO Go app has been added to the latest update, so you can now watch any episode of the Sopranos.

Was waiting for someone to take a chance and give him another big roll in something else. Man could act, and he didn't need to be waiting around for some lame Sopranos movie.

He has worked steadily since the end of The Sopranos".  His movies included Zero Dark Thirty, Killing Them Softly, Welcome to the Rileys, Where the Wild Things Are, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and several minor parts.

The man could flat out act and Hollywood knew it.  He was not hurting for work and was starting a new series called Criminal Justice.

I was hoping it was an Internet hoax, but sadly it isn't the case this time. RIP sir, you were one hell of an actor. It's amazing how his portrayal made millions root for such a flawed human being. Another brilliant show he was in was called Gun. One of those brilliant but cancelled anyway type of shows.

Tony plays a minor role. Paulie and Christopher attempt to collect money from a Russian hood named Valery. Violence erupts. Valery is shot and dumped into the car trunk, supposedly dead. The plan is to bury him somewhere in the Pine Barrens, a heavily forested area in south NJ. But when Paulie and Christopher open the trunk, they find Valery not only alive, but able to beat them up with a shovel and escape. During a cellphone call Paulie learns that Valery is a former Russian commando who killed "23 Chechnyans." Later, while hunting for Valery in the Pine Barrens, Paulie reminds Christopher to be careful with Valery --- "he killed 23 Czechoslovakians."

he played the hell out of Tony Soprano... arguably the best, and certainly most recognizable, tv character of his generation. i don't know too many people who didn't watch the show. he was great in just about everything he took on. taken way, way too young.

I was in high school when this show first aired and married when it concluded. I own the whole series and made my wife watch it with me in order. Tony Soprano made it even cooler to be Italian. He will be missed.

He fucked that little blond secretary that worked at that shop that he took a check from all those years! He pounded her and she was laughing bent over her desk. Lol
