I agree. The best Batman. Even though typecast after the show probably a very successful post Batman career and he obviously enjoyed the fame that came with that show.

Back in the late 60s when I was 6 and 7 years old. You know you are getting old when all your favorite childhood actors and television personalities all begin to die off. I hope I can live in relatively good health well into my 80s. RIP Adam West!

I actually met West at Motor City ComicCon a few years ago - he was a pretty warm, friendly guy in person, at least for the minute or so that we got to chat, and he was pretty self-effacing about the delightful cheesiness of the original Batman too.
