Was bracing myself for the Nth mawkish recounting of the rescue, and then THIS!    Good thing I wasn't drinking milk at the time or I'd still be wiping my monitor down.

You sir have earned my vote for best LB Photoshop of the week.

Outstanding!!!!!  That said, please see the below disclaimer:

Following the accident, the miners waited in a shelter (don't know what that entails) inside the mineshaft.  There, they waited for about 2 weeks when a small tube was drilled so that the miners could be passed supplies, including some sort of gel with all the nutrients needed to sustain them and hydration pills (real water too?).  The hole was also used for pumping oxygen into the mine as well as for exchanging notes between them and the outside world, including the original note saying that 33 miners were trapped but were okay.  That note was something of a major symbol of their struggle to stay alive, as it was miraculous that all 33 were able to stay okay for so long before the mini hole reached them.

They had already drilled a smaller hole to get them supplies. Lloyd sure is happy he didn't miss the Iowa game but man, he sure looks desperate to pee !!!!

I guess we can joke now that they're all safe and okay, so I heard this funny joke on the radio:

They hadn't seen so many "miners" escape since they unlocked Michael Jackson's basement!

(Hard to do these jokes in writing, so just disregard the spelling differences.)

The best part is, that is exactly the sort of face you would make if you were just rescued from a collapsed mine after 69 days. The Lloyd Brady face.
