what is the general state of the Lions fanbase these days? Is the torch and pitchfork crew out to get Mayhew?  Is Caldwell still too fresh to be under scrutiny? Is there truth to the rumors that some of the guys in the locker room don't think Stafford works hard enough/ he is coddled by the front office?

Im a Browns fan, and Lord knows we have plenty of our own issues, so I am by no means trying to point fingers and laugh. I am honestly curious.  Since half of my family lives in Michigan, I guess you could say the Lions are my 1b NFL team.  The Browns certainly dont have my attention right now, what with their ongoing impression of a hibernating bear, so what say Ye, Lions fans?

This year will be very telling for the Lions, their fans, and for Mayhew and Lewand.  So far the Lions have not improved their team and objectively thus far it has fallen behind.  Also, they will play a tougher schedule this year.  Stafford really needs to step up, not necessarily as a "Leader", but just his overall performance if they team wants to make the playoffs.  Optimistic (that is what fans are), but not holding my breath.
