OT - Redwings news sources

Submitted by teldar on
I'm always looking for a news outlet for what's going on with the Wings. The best places I've found are the Snapshots Blog attached to mlive and redwingscentral. Has anyone else out there found anything other than these two sites as primary information sites for Wings info?

I agree with OMG about lgw.com. In addition, if you like to talk Wings hockey and learn a lot about their prospects, I invite you to check out the Red Wings forum on hfboards.com. HFboards is part of the hockey futures website, and is tailored towards news on prospects. However, the boards, especially the Wings, talk about all facets of the team. Posters frequently link to stories regarding the Wings... any significant team news will not get past the core board members. Enjoy!

rwc has similar stuff, and I think maybe a little better tailored to the Wings rather than the entire league. Sometimes, some of the stuff I see on HF seems a little crazy as far as Wings prospects are concerned as RWC seems to have (Maybe) more of an insider's pipeline on what the mgmt actually seems to think. If you've not looked at rwc before, I'd recommend it. They have some good articles and, I think, excellent prospect info. Thanks for the response. I'll have to look for some of the HF forums.

I hate the Freep, everyone here does. But I like to read about a lot of the Detroit sports while on my Palm Centro. The mobile site for the detnews is pretty bad and has virtually nothing updated or new over the weekend. I've been using the freep regularly until last week pretty much. Are there are good mobile websites to get Detroit sports news?
