OT: Red Wings v Blue Jackets (here's hoping the other night was a fluke) all purpose thread

honestly this is a good game. Both Boborovsky and Howard making some nice stops but man red tube robbery on our side we need to hammer those loose pucks around the doorstep home. I honestly was really impresses with our power play once we got it set up. Nice crisp tape to tape passing and we're looking a lot faster keep crashing Columbus's net and goals will follow. Defensively Columbus is actually playing a solid game. It looks like they have found their stride a bit. I'm looking for us to manipulate the 2nd period. GO WINGS! Keep up the hits and shots.

Should've swung a deal and gotten rid of a couple forwards. Didn't see the point of picking up Sammy and Tootoo when it just created a glut of forwards, most of whom are mediocre

One thing Wings fans are going to learn to hate if they don't already are 3-point games. I find myself just rooting for someone to score in a game like NSH/STL tonight which was tied late. Don't want to see division or conference opponents rack up extra points.

When the officials make it known early that they're going to let them play, you don't see any of the diving and nonsense that has been prevalent in this game. Wish they'd just let these guys play hockey and put the whistles away.
