OT- Red Wings Playoff Game 2 All Purpose thread.
Slow day on the board, and that damn Tigers game was a turd. Figure we'd rock this as a drinking, pregame and game thread as one to save us from the non hockey fans who will be nice enough to take the time and comment how much they don't like this thread.
On to the good stuff...
Wings and Preds provide us with some Friday night entertainment. I personally think whoever wins this game has about a 95% chance of taking the series. If Nashville goes up 2-0, it's gonna be tough to come back. If we win, it's suddenly a best of 5 series and we've got home ice.

Great first period. Except for a few slipups (thanks for saving our bacon Jimmy), we've been controlling the ice
Moving the puck. Taking advantage of their mistakes. Getting contributions from 3-4th lines. Howard is playing sweet. We keep playing like this then there is no way we lose this series. I think the moderator should ban the 10 people on the blog who I saw predicting us to lose before the series even started! Going Wings!

LGRW. I love playoff time, I can actually see the Wings on TV. Not too much hockey on the air down in Atlanta, especially with the Jets gone.
I feel your pain. I don't get to watch the wings until spring either. Upstate NY cable doesn't give them a lot of love.
