I must sadly admit that I am a bit undereducated in regards to wolverines. I am sorry to say that I have always chalked up our dear mascot to being a rabid badger that would surely feast on one of your appendages if you came within 50 yards of it (spoiler alert- we are part of the giant weasel family). The start page of the MGo iPhone app was the extent of my knowledge of how this animal operates.
Luckily, a new documentary has hit Netflix for streaming (this is even better for AppleTV users) called Wolverine: Chasing the Phantom which is the best 53 minutes you can spend on our mascot. Essentially a group of biologists set out in Glacier National Park to study and dispel many myths about wolverines. There is even footage from Steve Kroschel who is shown playing with tamed wolverines (I honestly thought he was being attacked at first), which was bizarre to see them at play.
I recommend it since I learned a ton of facts (e.g. the insulation from their fur prevents the snow they lay on from melting from their body heat) that you can use when your pinhead officemate calls them a skunkbear. Also, you gain some appreciation from their badassedness starting from the first scene when a wolverine climbs 4900 vertical feet over snow and a sheer rock face in 90 minutes because he wanted to get to the other side. Tip of the hat to you my striped friend.
