Even though, the Pats will beat either of these teams at home next week.

I really cant remeber, but did Troy play in the Pats game?  It would be very different if he was out during that game.

My Thoughts

Close, low scoring, lots of defense, basically what everyone on NFL network said. 16-13 Baltimore in OT.

I don't have a horse in the race but I always live watching these teams play. Defense, to me, is what football is all about. Woodley bringing the wood makes the difference: Pitt 17, Ravens 10.

3 gold stars to anyone who knows who Bradlee Van Pelt is. That's without googling him. He now offers expert coverage of the games on Sky Sports in the UK.

Colorado State quarterback from a while back?

PS I didn't know that the NFL was on in the UK.  Is it mostly for expats or has this annual gamein Wembly acutally paid off for the league?

Like Cheesehead said Colorado State QB from a couple of years back. To justify this post he's also the son of Brad Van Pelt LB for MSU back in the day, died of a heart attack two-ish years ago. Grew up with/was kinda friends with my mom too, as a random personal side note

Like you all soda correctly he was the Colorado State QB and broke many records. He was in the NFL for a few years but never got any significant game time. He moved to play with the Leicester Falcons in the UK an I was able to way h him play. He was an absolute beast playing against guys who would struggle to make it against decent high school teams. Btw American football is the fastest growing sport in the UK

Mendenhall

I know there is an obvious disparity in speed from College to Pros, but doesn't it seem that Mendenhall is as explosive as once was when at Illinois?  Plus, he really doesn't have great vision and reading ability.  I wonder if that is a product of playing in a read option offense, or the fact that he is pretty mediocre.

Yeah, from a production stand point he has done well these last two seasons.   It just seemed like he was more of a "homerun threat" in college.  He has become more of a buirser.

Go Steelers!

Beat the Ravens so John Harbaugh will leave his successful NFL team at the drop of a hat and come here to work as our DC!

(Hey, it's only slightly less realistic than some of the suggestions that have been offered.)

Wow.  Bad challenge by Tomlin I think.  Very unfortunate though, and Im kinda amazed that the refs didnt call it dead, since at full speed it looks like an incomplete pass.

Watching that punt, it dawned on me whether we, as in UofM, will go back to traditional punt formations or stick with the rugby/spread formation.

Where did all these Steelers fans come from?

I had no idea there was such a concentration of UM fans in Steeler Nation.  I mean, I didn't expect there to be a lot of Ravens fans, but still.

By the way, why the heck do Steelers fans yell "HEEEEATH" after he gets a catch?  Doesn't that sound like a rip off of the Ravens fans yelling " HEEEEEAP" after his catches?  Just sayin.

This is the only place I can admit

that I root for NFL teams based on the Wolverine roster percentage.  More Wolvs per yard on the Steelers, if you don't count coaches.  (Prescott Burgess doesn't get a lot of play time.)  There are occasionally a few other factors, so I can be flexible, but with no Wolverines it's a struggle.

Ravens offense

has been laying a total egg. Even when they were up 21-7, it was pretty clear that they were in trouble because they hadn't been able to move the ball at all. It was just a matter of time until the Steeler's offense worn down the Ravens and put some points on the board.

Raven's still have a chance, but now the Steelers offense is rolling and the Raven's haven't gotten anything going on offense.

The Pats certainly have a

The Pats certainly have a much better chance but Pittsburgh has roughly 7 lineman they can use in any way, shape, or form. I don't know how they're overcoming that other than the Raven's refusal to win this game.

It's hard to believe John and Jim Harbaugh are brothers based purely on sideline demeanor.

I want Cris Collinsworth

The color commentary for this game isn't very interesting nor is it insightful. But man, all the playoff games so far have been terrific.

I don't think it's an exaggreration to say Baltimore needs to revamp its entire receiving corps. As I say this Housh drops an easy one. Just retire already. Housh and Boldin end Baltimore's season. How fitting.

What an absolutely awful unit.
