OT: Rats of Columbus
St. Tress sold his house to Bobby Layman (yes he of Clarett Scandal Laymans), a car dealer, in Columbus this week. Bobby said it was for his mother...

I wonder if Geno approved the sale so Urbz could get some rides for his oversignees.

Columbus really is just a shady atomosphere. Mixing a city with a college town isn't a good idea.

House sold for $2.2M. To an ohio booster. In a crappy market. When Tressel paid about $1.4M for it--certainly no more than about 10 years ago. That price has to include a bonus for "services rendered" by the old Vest. That, or Columbus is the only market in the country where real estate has appreciated by over 50% in the past decade.

A house that sold for 2.2 mil in Columbus? For that price, I would expect a sheik's 57 room palace.

What a horrible thing to say. I think you owe rodents an apology.

that the President of Akron Dr. Luis Proenza attended Ohio. Nice little golden parachute for a good soldier after the Colts job fell through.

paying players or giving extra perks for blue chippers to gravitate towards the pits of Columbus in order to maintain a powerhold over other teams in the B1G. Right Urb? ;)
