OT: Ralph Bolden Tears ACL
The ACL gods have smitten Purdue once again, for the second time to Bolden in his career at Purdue. He will (obviously) miss their bowl game against WMU, but he is a Junior so he does have next year. Tough luck for Bolden and the Boilermakers, heres to a a speedy and full recovery.

He needs to retire to the island of misfit mascots.

He won't be at 100% by the start of next season. He might want to consider quitting football if he wants to have a normal walk for the rest of his life.

Was it the same leg?

Best of luck to you, mr bolden. If this is the end of his football career he will get a fine degree from purdue.

Terrible he'll miss his first, and possibly only bowl game, depending on how he recovers from his second major knee injury.

As a veteran of ACL injuries, I really hate to see this. Are Purdue ACLs really this cursed?

....and start replacing ACLs with high-tension cables.
Hopefully, Bolden makes a full recovery in time to help them out in the fall.

Do they not stretch or something?

It's a ligament, not a muscle.

Grow a mustache and rub some dirt on it.

perhaps they should throw that damn elephant into the volcano to appease the gods. Really sad to hear that.
