OT: PSU wide receiver Allen Robinson declares for draft

Submitted by MichiganStudent on
@ESPN_BigTen: Penn State announces WR Allen Robinson, the Big Ten WR of year the past two seasons, will enter NFL draft. No surprise.

PSU could be in for a long season if Hackenberg transfers and the new coach doesn't maximize his talent as much as BOB.

*sorry if the formatting isn't great. I'm on my phone.

I wish him the best! I played with him in high shcool and he has consistently grown over the years into a great athlete and man. I hope he goes on to do great things in the league.

Any Jr. on that team that is considered an NFL prospect, no matter how late in the draft they may be taken, should GTFO.

3rd Coach in 4 years, not knowing what teamates are going to transfer, quit, or go pro.

I could see them taking Bridewater number 1 overall and the getting Allen in a later round (I don't know where he's projected to go right now) to go on the opposite side of Andre Johnson. The Texans could go from supbar/under-performing offense this season to pretty damn good if Arian Foster can finally be healthy for a whole season.

I think everyone's overreacting a little. I'm not saying Michigan is guaranteed to win that game, but some of the prognosticators around here were actually saying Michigan is likely to lose that game. I'm simply they'll probably be solidly favored. I guess I'm just able to look at 2013 as a bad year, with issues that can be corrected during the offseason. Of course, I said that prior to 2010 as well...

He was HS senior in 2010, when we were in flux over whether RR was staying or going. Plus, RR wanted smurfs like Gallon and Dileo more than the bigger guys.

He committed to PSU in November 2010, before we could do much to get him. Best other offer from Minnesota.

Also, Bolden (former PSU QB) HS teammate.

A good example of being coached up - but hey Gallon wasn't highly recruited either.

Robinson had 177 receptions for 2,479 yards and 17 TDs in his Penn State career, but he always seemed to be very sure-handed and like someone that you had to account for on every single snap that he was in the game. He should have a pretty productive career on Sundays, I would think. Best of luck to him in the next phase of his football career.
