I am shocked. Next thing you'll tell me is that Jim Tressel is accepting of gay players on his team and acknowledged this in a magazine for an alternative LGBT magazine in the Columbus area.
to admit they do have some pretty talented gays on that team. Im shocked more college football teams are not recruiting gay guys to play. Just kidding political correct crowd.

But, you have to think that if a kid could at least not feel threatened at OSU he would consider it. The gay population isn't really much different as far as athletic ability, they're just better dressers (joking about the 2nd part).
My cousin was a highly regarded hockey player in RI but quit playing in HS. A few years ago he came out to the family (I had always suspected it). I always wondered if he gave up hockey because of the "other issues". Looking at him or the way he acted, and acts, one would not have known.
The only thing that would tip you off now is that he is living in AA with his partner and even at that they would just seem like roommates unless you knew them.

John Wall is just biding his time anyway. He doesn't give a shit what happens after he signs a very rich NBA contract this summer. He will be, as Ernie Harwell used to say, "long gone."
