OT: Posbang Friday!! Rock the Vote // Photoshoppin'

Happy Friday!

Today is the day I get the pleasure of changing my avatar. For those of you who don't know why I have a pink pony as my avatar (so probably all of you), I stuck my nose into a conversation I didn't belong in and paid the price dearly.

I have gotten a couple suggestions about keeping this avatar. I've been told I stand out in the comments. Others have suggested I "slap a block m on that puppy" (per mgouser oldcityblue). So in honor of the last day to vote Denard for the cover, I will have a little vote myself.

It's simple, up-vote the post if I should keep it, down-vote if I should trash it.

Also, for all you crazy photo-shopperz out there, please find the enlarged photo in the link above, have fun, and submit it in the comments below. My favorite, if the people decide for me to keep the avatar, will be my new avatar!

adequately express my dislike for that movie.

It is also my wife's favorite movie, so I get the watch it all the time, and hear insightful lines like "Whoa, this is weird" in very strange muted audio nearly every weekend.  Joy.

we have a pretty nice set up, but it does not make the experience any more tolerable.

I have no idea why she likes the movie like she does, but she does.  She is not one of the Avatar weirdos, like she did not visit sites for blue people and stuff like that, but it is her favorite movie of all time and I just have to deal with it.

And it is not that I just consider it "not very good," I am actually affirmatively offended by its pretension.  But I just go "This is fine babe.  I get the TV tonight for the game right?"

I have to take an hour-plus trip out to some HR offices at some point today, but there's a gross blizzard out there (gross as in the snow is all heavy and slushy, not that it's like raining turds or something). So I'm sitting here wasting time until I man up enough to go outside.

EDIT: I say keep the avatar. I don't remember what your avatar was before, but there's no way it was as good as your current one.
